Last Nov 27 we celebrated the latest edition of our International Cake Contest, with the help of Ellen Stewart and the Departments of English and Technology.
This edition we got help from students in 4º Bilingual as juries. They decided the winners this year. Thank you, kids!

One more year, last November 28, we celebrated our traditional and long-standing International Cake Contest. Like every year, we have awarded prizes to the best-quality performances from our students in 1º ESO Secciones Europeas.
The best oral presentation of their recipe went to group number 7, formed by Paula, Fernando, Laura and Alejandro.
Alejandra, Alicia and Alba, group number 1, got the prize to the best decorated cake.
The most delicious cake was the one designed by Adrián Querencia, Alejandro and Laura Murillo, members of group 8.
And the last prize went to the most original cake, the one Ana Galindo, Caludia, Elisa and Marta Valero and Guilherme Guimaraes prepared.
All the winners received great prizes.

Last Tuesday November 29 the 3rd International Cake Contest at IES Gabriel Alonso de Herrera took place in the traditional Technology Workshop premises.
The Contest involves preparing an international recipe in English with the supervision of the families. Groups can be up to three students. The group always presents the recipe to the audience orally and the jury evaluates the performance of all the participants.

Last November 30 the students of 1º SE competed for the best Christmas recipe at the second International Cake Contest, which took place in our school's Technology premises. After the oral presentation of their challenge by all the participating teams, students, teachers and families finally competed to be the first to eat all the delicacies on the tables. |
El día 30 de noviembre se desarrolló en nuestras instalaciones el segundo International Cake Contest, en el que los alumnos de Secciones Europeas (1º SE) han competido por conseguir la mejor receta navideña. Tras la presentación oral en inglés por parte de cada grupo en competición, alumnos, profesores y familias compitieron a su vez para vez quién se las comía antes. |
